Cushman Classic: Fri. Sept. 9

If they don’t already, your kids will probably attend one of the two main high schools in Grand Forks: Red River H.S. or Grand Forks Central H.S.  Tomorrow night is the night to see the cross-town rivalry in action on the football field at the Cushman Classic!

Cushman Field is located next to Red River H.S./Apollo Field/Blue Line Arena – YOU CAN’T MISS THE LOCATION!

Kickoff is at 7pm. There will be a food court and children’s carnival from 530-630 inside the Blue Line Club Arena (next to Cushman Field). There will be free kids’ games, t-shirts, face painting and food for purchase.  Red River is the home team this year and has won the past two match-ups. GO Roughriders! GO Knights!

Sioux Kids Club

We live in a state without professional sports, but luckily we live in a city with a great university and fantastic athletics that really invites the local community to be a part of the UND tradition. Your kids ages 3-14, in eighth grade or younger can join the Sioux Kids Club. You must rejoin Sioux Kids Club every year to renew your membership and receive a NEW t-shirt and other fun stuff!

Join the Sioux Kids Club today for a behind-the-scenes look into how Sioux athletes become part of championship teams! As a member, you will also help Fighting Sioux athletes go to college! Sioux Kids Club membership dollars directly support the Fighting Sioux Club, in the form of the Sioux Kids Club Impact Scholarship. In the 2010-2011 season, Sioux Kids Club membership dollars raised $11,680 for the Impact Scholarship which is divided up among two Fighting Sioux athletes each year.
