Minnesota State Fair 2011 Aug. 25-Sept. 5, 2011

A great thing about living in Grand Forks is that we are only 4.5 hours away from Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. It’s almost the end of summer and you know what that means! Minnesota State Fair time! Since North Dakota was unable to host a state fair this year (due to Minot flooding) the family can get their fix of fried food and amusement rides and awesome concerts at the MN State Fair. It started on Thursday, Aug. 25 and will run through Labor Day weekend ending Labor Day, Sept. 5.  There are so many things to do, exhibits and shows that it’s better if you just visit the fair’s website to get all the info. Enjoy! www.mnstatefair.org .
