The North Dakota Ballet Company and Academy

Are you ready…to Cecchetti?

The North Dakota Ballet Company & Academy is still accepting registrations for fall dance classes!  Founded in 1962 as the state’s official ballet company, our organization prides itself on offering dance classes based on the internationally standardized Cecchetti ballet curriculum.  Even though we are a ballet school, we also train dancers of all ages in tap, jazz, pointe, modern/contemporary, hip-hop, and more!

From the very foundation of our school, we strive to train dancers in not only pre-professional technique, but also in creativity, critical thinking skills, leadership, and more.  Besides our annual spring recital, we also produce a professional-quality, full-length story ballet each winter!  Past ballet productions have included Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Coppélia; this winter, we will be producing the well-loved and entertaining ballet of Alice in Wonderland!  We invite all of our Academy dancers to participate in what will no doubt be a thrilling and beautiful spectacle.

From ages 2 to adult, we have a dance class for you or your child!  New to our schedule this year are daytime class options for stay-at-home parents/nannies, in addition to our regular late afternoon, evening, and weekend class options.

Check out our website at www.northdakotaballet.org for class schedules, class and faculty information, and our mission statement.

For more information call our Academy Director: Emily Burkland at 701.746.6044 or e-mail her at emily.burkland@northdakotaballet.org
